Instrument Technician
We are in search of a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team at our facility in Clairvaux. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating various instruments used in production processes. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and control valves
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments to determine root cause and implement appropriate solutions
- Calibrate instruments according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards
- Install new instruments as needed to support production processes
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and document instrument performance
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to optimize instrument performance and identify areas for improvement
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies while working on instruments
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in instrumentation preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as an Instrument Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong understanding of electrical principles, circuitry, and troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with different types of instrumentation equipment and their functions
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics for instrument repair and calibration procedures
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
