Electrical Engineer - Contract Position (Clairvaux, Kenya)


We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Clairvaux, Kenya. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and be able to work independently on various projects. This is a contract position with the potential for extension based on performance.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain electrical systems and components
- Develop and test prototypes of electrical equipment
- Conduct research to stay updated on industry advancements and regulations
- Collaborate with other engineers and team members to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for projects
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Manage project timelines and budgets

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience working as an Electrical Engineer, preferably in the African region
- Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and standards
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex problems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on renewable energy projects
- Biometric passport for international travel

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is $1600 USD per month.
