Restaurant Manager - Indian Cuisine (Temporary, Accommodation Provided)
Our restaurant in Vianden is seeking an experienced Indian Restaurant Manager to join our team on a temporary basis. As a Restaurant Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Indian cuisine restaurant and ensure that our guests have an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the restaurant, including staffing, inventory, and budgeting
- Train and supervise staff to ensure high quality service and food preparation
- Create schedules for employees and manage labor costs
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain stock levels
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction and handle any issues that may arise
- Collaborate with the chef to create new menu items and specials
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to provide feedback and address any concerns
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in an Indian cuisine restaurant
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and culture
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of managing budgets, inventory, and labor costs effectively
- Customer service oriented with a focus on creating an exceptional dining experience for guests
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Preference for candidates with accommodation already situated in Vianden
Salary: $1500 per month
