Experienced Pastry Chef
Location: Clairvaux, France
We are in search of a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end French restaurant in Clairvaux. As our Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries that meet our customers' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and prepare a variety of desserts and pastries, including cakes, tarts, macarons, and more.
- Ensure all pastries are made with high-quality ingredients and in accordance with food safety standards.
- Plan and create new dessert menus to keep up with seasonal changes and trends.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of pastry orders for the restaurant.
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs in proper techniques and recipes.
- Manage inventory levels for pastry ingredients and supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Proficient in creating various types of desserts, including gluten-free options.
- Knowledgeable about food safety regulations.
- Strong time-management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and creativity in presentation.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
