Data Mining Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Moscow, Russia. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends. You will use various data mining tools and techniques to extract valuable insights and provide recommendations to improve business processes or strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct data mining activities using tools such as SQL, Python, or R
- Identify relevant data sources and gather required information
- Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Analyze data using statistical methods and present findings in a clear and concise manner
- Develop predictive models to forecast future trends or outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide actionable insights
- Monitor data quality and troubleshoot any issues that may arise

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- Proven experience as a Data Mining Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of SQL and other programming languages (Python, R)
- Familiarity with data mining tools (e.g. RapidMiner, SAS)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify patterns and trends in data
- Good communication skills with the ability to present findings in a clear manner
