Cashier - English Speaking (Indian Nationals Preferred)

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team in Medina. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter and ensuring that all cash handling procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly manner and provide assistance with their purchases
- Scan, bag, and process items accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accurate balance
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to effectively communicate information to customers
- Keep checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies
- Follow all cash handling procedures to prevent any discrepancies or errors
- Assist with inventory management by restocking items as needed
- Resolve customer complaints or refer them to the appropriate department for resolution

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service preferred but not required
- Fluent in English (additional language skills are a plus)
- Excellent math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed
