Long Haul Truck Driver

We are hiring a Long Haul Truck Driver for our logistics company located in Lusail, Qatar. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across long distances, ensuring timely and safe delivery. This is an urgent position, so we are looking for someone who can join us immediately.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials to various locations
- Plan routes and follow schedules provided by the company
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues before and after trips
- Adhere to traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies
- Communicate with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers regarding delivery status
- Maintain accurate logs of working hours, miles driven, fuel consumption, etc.
- Report any incidents or accidents to the supervisor immediately

Requirements:
- Valid truck driving license from the candidate's home country (Canada preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a long haul truck driver
- Ability to handle various types of trucks and trailers (flatbeds, tankers, etc.)
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations and procedures
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects when loading/unloading cargo
- Excellent communication skills (English not required)
- Willingness to work in shifts and travel for extended periods of time
- Experience with electronic logging devices is a plus
- Accommodation will be provided by the company

Salary:
1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
