Job Title: Turner - Skilled Metalworker


As a Turner at our metalworking company in Dubrovnik, you will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment to shape and form metal parts for various projects. Your main role will be to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings to determine the specifications and materials needed for each project. You will then use your expertise in metalworking techniques to cut, shape, and drill metal pieces according to the specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses
- Read technical drawings and blueprints to determine project specifications
- Select appropriate tools and materials for each project
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished pieces
- Adjust machine settings as needed for each project
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure safety and quality standards are met
- Inspect finished pieces for any defects or imperfections
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turner or similar skilled metalworker role
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Knowledge of different types of metals and their characteristics
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials if needed
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
