Barista

We are a busy coffee shop located in Salalah and we are seeking an experienced Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and exceptional customer service skills. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold coffee beverages, as well as other menu items. You must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Take customer orders and prepare beverages according to their preferences
- Operate coffee machines and other equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including counters, tables, and equipment
- Ensure all food and drinks are prepared to company standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly manner
- Educate customers on our menu offerings and make recommendations based on their preferences
- Restock inventory when needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Barista is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of different types of coffee drinks and their preparation methods
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic or Hindi is a plus)
- Good math skills for handling cash transactions
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
