Job Title: Librarian in Ajman, UAE


We are searching for a dedicated and knowledgeable Librarian to join our team in Ajman. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library's resources, assisting patrons with research inquiries, and promoting library services to the community.

Requirements:
- Egyptian nationality preferred
- Fluent in English
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a librarian
- Familiarity with library management systems and online databases
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must be willing to relocate to Ajman if not currently residing there

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection of books, magazines, and other resources
- Catalogue new materials and maintain accurate records of borrowed items
- Assist patrons with research inquiries and provide recommendations for reading materials
- Develop and conduct educational programs for all ages, including story time for children and workshops for adults
- Promote library services through social media, events, and other marketing strategies
- Collaborate with other librarians to plan and implement new programs or services
- Stay up-to-date with current trends in the library field by attending conferences or workshops
