Baker Assistant

We are seeking a hardworking and dedicated Baker Assistant to join our team in Wiltz. As a Baker Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the head baker in preparing and baking a variety of breads and pastries. This is a part-time position with the potential for full-time employment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the head baker in measuring and mixing ingredients according to recipes
- Prepare doughs, batters, fillings, and icings
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers
- Shape dough into loaves, rolls, or other shapes
- Decorate and glaze baked goods
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a bakery or kitchen setting preferred
- Knowledge of different types of breads and pastries
- Ability to follow recipes accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Salary: $1000 per month

Location: Wiltz (accommodation provided if necessary)
