Preservation Architect
We are seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Jerusalem. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures. Your main duties will include conducting site surveys, creating preservation plans, and overseeing restoration projects.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys to assess the condition of historic buildings and structures
- Create preservation plans that comply with local regulations and standards
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to develop restoration strategies
- Oversee restoration projects to ensure quality and accuracy
- Review project budgets and schedules to ensure they are met
- Monitor the progress of projects and make necessary adjustments
- Conduct research on historical buildings and materials to inform preservation plans
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree - [1117] in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in preservation architecture or a similar role
- Experience working with historic buildings and structures
- Familiarity with local preservation regulations and standards
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
Salary: 1500$
