Restaurant Manager - Indian Cuisine
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the operations of our Indian cuisine restaurant in Ashdod. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and beverage industry, particularly in Indian cuisine, and possess excellent managerial and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including budgeting, inventory control, and staff management.
- Create and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Hire, train, schedule, and manage a team of servers, cooks, and other staff members.
- Ensure high quality of food and service by regularly monitoring food preparation processes, service standards, and customer feedback.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with local health codes.
- Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of fresh ingredients.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a restaurant manager, preferably in Indian cuisine.
- Excellent knowledge of Indian cuisine and culture.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of Hebrew or any other language is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to legally work in Israel.
