Facade Engineer


As a Facade Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing building facades. You will work closely with architects and contractors to create functional and aesthetically pleasing exteriors that meet all safety and structural requirements. Your job will require a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and project management skills.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with architects to develop facade designs that meet client requirements and align with building codes
- Conduct thorough analysis of building materials and systems to determine their suitability for specific projects
- Create detailed drawings and specifications for facade elements such as curtain walls, cladding, glazing, and shading systems
- Work closely with contractors during construction phase to ensure proper installation of facade elements
- Perform site visits to assess progress and quality of work, identify any issues or concerns, and provide solutions
- Conduct performance testing on completed facades to ensure they meet required standards for air infiltration, water penetration, thermal performance, etc.
- Keep up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in facade technology to continuously improve design processes

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facade design or engineering
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations related to facades
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD or similar) for creating detailed drawings
- Experience with structural analysis software (SAP2000 or similar) is preferred
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders (architects, contractors, clients)
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Salary: $1200 per month

Location: Acre, Israel
