Clairvaux Preservation Architects is seeking a skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Clairvaux. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, ensuring they are maintained according to their original design and historical significance. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and government agencies to plan and oversee preservation projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design, historic preservation techniques, and possess excellent project management skills.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough site assessments of historic buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans that adhere to the building's original design
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for proposed projects
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and government agencies to obtain necessary approvals and permits
- Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans
- Monitor project budgets and timelines
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control of preservation work
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in historic preservation or restoration projects
- Strong knowledge of architectural history, styles, and materials used in historic buildings
- Proficient in AutoCAD or other architectural software
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills for working with clients, contractors, and government agencies
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail with a strong eye for preserving historical accuracy
– Flexibility to travel for site visits as needed
