Pastry Chef - Indian Cuisine
We are seeking an experienced and creative Pastry Chef specializing in Indian cuisine to join our team at our upscale restaurant in Triesen. As a pastry chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of Indian-inspired desserts, pastries, and baked goods. Your main goal will be to delight our guests with your unique and delicious creations while maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and sanitation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new dessert recipes that incorporate traditional Indian flavors and ingredients
- Prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods for daily service and special events
- Ensure all products are consistently prepared according to established recipes and standards
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times
- Train and supervise other pastry team members as necessary
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a pastry chef in an upscale restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine and traditional cooking techniques
- Creativity and passion for developing new flavor profiles
- Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team
Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Triesen, Liechtenstein (open to candidates of any nationality)
