A busy barbershop in Nairobi is seeking a skilled Barber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling and excellent customer service skills. As a Barber, you will be responsible for providing high-quality haircuts and grooming services to clients of all ages and backgrounds. Along with your technical skills, you must also possess strong communication abilities to understand and fulfill the unique preferences of each client. You must also have a keen eye for detail and be able to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:
- Greet clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Consult with clients to understand their hair styling needs
- Provide haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and other grooming services
- Keep up-to-date with current trends and techniques in men's grooming
- Maintain cleanliness of tools and work area
- Handle cash transactions and book appointments using our scheduling software
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure return visits

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Barber or hairstylist is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele
- Strong knowledge of various cutting techniques, including fades, scissor cuts, etc.
- Ability to use clippers, scissors, razors, trimmers, etc.
- Knowledge of different hair types and textures
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Creativity and attention to detail are essential

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $900 per month.
