Back-End Developer

We are currently hiring a talented and motivated Back-End Developer to join our team in Shan, Kenya. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side of web applications and ensuring the overall performance, reliability, and security of our systems. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side code for web applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues or bugs in the system
- Optimize application performance by implementing efficient algorithms and database structures
- Ensure the security of data by implementing proper authentication and authorization protocols
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in back-end development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
- Experience working with databases like MySQL or MongoDB
- Strong understanding of server-side architecture and web protocols (HTTP, HTTPS)
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control systems (Git)
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills

Salary: We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month.

City: This position is based in Shan, Kenya. However, we are open to candidates from other cities who are willing to relocate.

Nationality/Visa: Kenyan nationals or candidates with valid working visa for Kenya are preferred. However, we welcome applicants from other nationalities who have the necessary work permits.

Experience: This is an entry-level position suitable for recent graduates or individuals with less than 2 years of experience. We provide training and mentorship opportunities for our employees to enhance their skills and advance in their careers.

Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required for this position.

Language: Proficiency in English is necessary for this role as it is the primary language used within our company. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.

Working Hours: This is a full-time position with standard working hours of 40 hours per week. However, as a Back-End Developer, you may occasionally need to work outside of regular business hours to meet project deadlines.
