Merchandiser (Indian/Malayalee)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Merchandiser to join our team at our company in Acre. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability, as well as ensuring that products are displayed in an attractive and organized manner.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute merchandising plans to drive sales and meet targets
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate prices, place orders, and ensure timely delivery
- Conduct regular store visits to check product displays and make necessary adjustments
- Train store staff on product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and promotions
- Analyze sales data to make informed decisions on product assortment and pricing
- Work closely with the marketing team to plan promotions and advertising campaigns
- Participate in inventory management by tracking stock levels, identifying slow-moving products, and making recommendations for clearance or restocking

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Merchandiser or similar role in the retail industry
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Malayalam is a plus)
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer behavior
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions based on insights
- Detail-oriented with an eye for visual presentation
- Good negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers
- Familiarity with inventory management software is preferred
- Must have own visa/residency permit (sponsorship not provided)
- Contract-based position with potential for extension based on performance
