Data Mining Specialist

We are urgently seeking a skilled and experienced Data Mining Specialist to join our team in Triesen. As a Data Mining Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, identifying patterns and trends, and providing valuable insights to inform business decisions. You must have advanced knowledge of data mining techniques and tools, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This is an English-speaking position with accommodation provided. Responsibilities:
- Conduct data mining activities such as data cleansing, preprocessing, and feature selection
- Analyze large datasets using various statistical methods to identify patterns and trends
- Develop data models and algorithms to extract valuable insights from data
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions
- Communicate findings through visualizations, reports, and presentations
- Continuously monitor and improve the performance of data mining models

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Proven experience in data mining or a similar role
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R or other programming languages commonly used in data mining
- Strong understanding of machine learning techniques such as clustering, classification, regression
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills
- Indian nationality preferred but not required
