Head Pastry Chef
We are in search of a skilled and creative Head Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end bakery in Muharraq, Bahrain. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the pastry department, including menu development, production, and staff management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and develop new pastry recipes that align with our brand and customer preferences
- Oversee the production and presentation of pastries, cakes, and desserts
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients to ensure consistent quality and availability
- Train and supervise pastry team members to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with other departments to plan menus for events or special occasions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-volume establishment
- Extensive knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Creative flair with an eye for detail to create visually appealing pastries
- Excellent time-management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Food safety certification is preferred
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends
Salary: The salary for this position is 1300$ per month.
