Architectural Technologist - Contract Position

We are a leading architecture firm in Dickirch and we are seeking a talented Architectural Technologist to join our team on a contract basis. As an Architectural Technologist, you will work closely with our team of architects and designers to develop technical drawings and plans for various construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for architecture and strong technical skills to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with architects and designers to develop detailed technical drawings and plans for residential and commercial construction projects.
- Conduct site visits to gather information and measurements for the development of drawings.
- Utilize AutoCAD or other drafting software to create accurate and detailed drawings.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure all drawings meet project requirements, deadlines, and budget constraints.
- Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and regulations to ensure compliance in all designs.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the design process.

Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in architectural drafting.
- Proficient in AutoCAD or other drafting software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

This is a contract position with the possibility of extension. Visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate. This is an English-speaking role; however, knowledge of other languages such as Hindi or Tamil would be an asset.
