Librarian vacancy in Jeddah Saudi Arabia

Librarian (Indian Nationals Only)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Librarian to join our team in Jeddah. As an Indian national, you will be responsible for managing the library resources and services, ensuring that they are easily accessible to users. This is a contract job with a competitive salary of 1300$, with free visa and ticket provided. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills in English and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. This is an urgent position, so we are looking for someone who can start immediately.

Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain library resources including books, journals, and electronic databases
- Develop and implement library policies and procedures
- Provide reference services to students, faculty, and staff
- Plan and conduct library orientation sessions for new students
- Collaborate with faculty to develop information literacy programs
- Manage the library budget and make recommendations for new acquisitions
- Train library staff on new technologies and systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Librarian or similar role
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with library management systems and electronic databases

Working Conditions:
