A reputable retail store in Khasab, Oman is seeking a Malayalee Cashier to join our team. As the Cashier, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer transactions, handling cash and card payments, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Scan items and process transactions accurately
- Handle cash and card payments with precision
- Provide customers with receipts and bag their purchases
- Assist with inventory management by restocking shelves and keeping track of items sold
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints with patience and professionalism
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations
Requirements:
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Previous cashier experience is preferred but not required
- Strong math skills to handle cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Must be able to work full-time hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
