Head Chef - Executive Chef
The Head Chef, or Executive Chef, is a crucial member of our kitchen team responsible for overseeing all aspects of food production and ensuring the highest quality of dishes are served to our customers. We are seeking a talented and experienced chef to lead our team in Nizwa, Oman. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of food production including menu planning, recipe development, and food preparation
- Ensure the highest quality of dishes are served to customers by maintaining high standards of food presentation, taste, and consistency
- Manage and train kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and dishwashers
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations while minimizing waste
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area according to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and seasonal specials

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely preparation and delivery of dishes
- Attention to detail in all aspects of food production and presentation
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Nizwa, Oman.

Preferences:
We welcome applications from candidates of Egyptian or Canadian nationality who meet the job requirements. This position is open for both full-time and part-time employment. Fluency in English is preferred but not required. This is an urgent job opening so candidates who can join immediately will be given priority.
