Restaurant Manager - Indian Cuisine
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee our Indian cuisine restaurant in Ajman. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining customer satisfaction. This is a full-time position, and we welcome candidates without prior experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase restaurant profitability
- Manage and train staff to provide excellent customer service
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels for ingredients and supplies
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues promptly
- Create work schedules for staff and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Conduct performance evaluations for team members
- Collaborate with chefs to develop new menu items or promotions
- Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of Indian cuisine is essential
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of budgeting, financial management, and cost control principles
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in other languages is a plus
Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
