Merchandiser Assistant

As a Merchandiser Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the merchandising team in all aspects of product placement and presentation. You will work closely with the team to ensure that merchandise is displayed in an attractive and organized manner, reflecting current trends and customer needs. This is an ideal role for a recent graduate or someone looking to start their career in the retail industry.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of visual displays according to company standards
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking shelves as needed
- Collaborate with buyers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of new products
- Conduct regular store walks to ensure proper placement and presentation of merchandise
- Help create eye-catching product presentations that drive sales
- Keep up-to-date on industry trends and incorporate them into displays
- Support the merchandising team with any additional tasks as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Passion for fashion and trends
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Previous retail experience is a plus but not required

Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)
