Automotive Mechanic
We are in need of an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team in Nairobi. This individual must have a biometric passport and be of Indian nationality. The ideal candidate will have strong English speaking skills and a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a mechanic in the automotive industry.
As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans. You will use your knowledge of mechanical systems to identify and fix any issues with engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, and other components.
The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of automotive technology and be able to use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems. Additionally, you must be able to work efficiently under pressure in our fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
- Diagnose issues with vehicles using diagnostic tools
- Repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning parts including engines, transmissions, brakes, and steering systems
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers
Requirements:
- Biometric passport
- Indian nationality preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience as an Automotive Mechanic
- Strong understanding of automotive technology
- Experience using diagnostic tools
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
