Elementary Teacher in Bergen, Norway

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Elementary Teacher to join our school in Bergen, Norway. As an Elementary Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students aged 6-12 years old. This is an urgent job opportunity with a competitive salary of 1800$ per month without accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Develop lesson plans and classroom activities that align with curriculum standards and promote student learning
- Provide instruction in various subjects such as math, science, language arts, and social studies
- Differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of students
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and facilitate learning
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and mutual respect
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to plan events, programs, and initiatives

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Teaching certification or license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching elementary-aged students
- Proficient in English (Norwegian language skills are a plus)
- Passion for working with children and promoting their academic, social, and emotional growth
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
