Junior Android Developer


We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Android Developer to join our team in Acre, Israel. As a Junior Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining mobile applications for Android devices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Java and experience with the Android SDK.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proficiency in Java programming language
- Experience with the Android SDK and development tools (Android Studio)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or work experience in mobile application development
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with Git version control system

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1600 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Acre, Israel. We welcome applicants from all nationalities.
