Indian Executive Chef in Balzers
We are seeking a talented and passionate Indian Executive Chef to join our team in Balzers. This is a great opportunity for someone without any previous experience to kickstart their career as an Executive Chef. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and be able to create authentic and innovative dishes using traditional cooking techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create new menus, develop recipes, and ensure food quality and consistency
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control of all kitchen supplies
- Ensure compliance with health department regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events or promotions featuring Indian cuisine
Requirements:
- Must be an Indian national or have extensive knowledge and experience with Indian cuisine
- Prior experience working as a chef is not required but preferred
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of German is a plus)
- Must be willing to relocate to Balzers (accommodations will be provided)
