Accountant (Contract)
Location: Al-Malikiyah, Syria



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Al-Malikiyah, Syria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. This is an urgent job opportunity and the selected candidate will be responsible for managing all financial transactions and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and invoices
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow statements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations
- Manage payroll processing
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders regarding financial matters

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Able to work independently under tight deadlines

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1800 per month.
