Head Chef - Indian Cuisine (Acre, Israel)
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef with a passion for Indian cuisine to join our team at our restaurant in the beautiful city of Acre, Israel. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations and leading a team of chefs to deliver exceptional Indian dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create innovative and authentic Indian dishes for our menu
- Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure high quality and consistency of food preparation and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations
- Oversee food cost control measures to achieve profitability goals
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high volume restaurant specializing in Indian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of Indian flavors, techniques, and ingredients
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (Hebrew is a plus)
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)
