Junior Accountant

We are currently seeking a Junior Accountant to join our accounting team in Acre, Israel. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks and supporting the senior accountants in various financial activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with minimal experience looking to kickstart their career in accounting.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Support the senior accountants with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (experience with accounting software is a plus)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Fluency in English (Hebrew is a plus)

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position.

This position is based in Acre, Israel. Accommodation can be provided if needed.
