Executive Chef - Filipino/Kenyan Cuisine

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Kaunas, Lithuania. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of traditional Filipino and Kenyan dishes at our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Filipino and Kenyan cuisine, as well as experience managing a kitchen and leading a team.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus featuring traditional Filipino and Kenyan dishes
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of all food items
- Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring high quality of food and service
- Monitor food costs and maintain budgetary guidelines
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Develop relationships with local suppliers to ensure the availability of fresh ingredients
- Collaborate with management to create seasonal promotions or special menu items
- Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and equipment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience working as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of Filipino and Kenyan cuisine, including traditional cooking techniques and flavor profiles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members towards success
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train staff on new menu items or procedures
- Proven track record of maintaining quality standards while managing costs effectively
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
