Solar Panel Installer

As a Solar Panel Installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining solar panel systems in residential and commercial buildings. Your main duties will include determining the best location for solar panels, securing panels to roofs or other structures, and connecting panels to electrical systems. You will also be responsible for conducting routine maintenance and repairs on existing systems.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of solar panel technology and installation techniques. You should also have excellent hand-eye coordination, physical strength, and the ability to work at heights. Good communication skills are also necessary as you will be working closely with team members and clients.

Responsibilities:
- Determine the best location for solar panels based on energy efficiency and structural integrity
- Secure solar panels to roofs or other structures using proper tools and techniques
- Connect panels to electrical systems following safety protocols
- Conduct routine maintenance on existing solar panel systems
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with existing systems
- Keep detailed records of all installations and repairs
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in solar panel installation preferred
- Previous experience in solar panel installation highly preferred but not required
- Ability to work at heights and lift heavy equipment as needed
- Strong understanding of solar panel technology and installation techniques
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
- Good communication skills in order to work effectively with team members and clients
