Indian Executive Chef in Wiltz
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our team at a seasonal restaurant in Wiltz. As an Indian Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing authentic Indian dishes while also managing the kitchen operations and supervising staff. This is a seasonal position with accommodation provided.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute authentic Indian dishes to meet the restaurant's standards
- Develop menu items and specials that showcase traditional Indian flavors
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high quality and efficient service
- Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost control to meet budget goals
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with the management team on promotional events or menu changes
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Ability to create new and innovative dishes while also maintaining consistency of existing menu items
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
- Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month.
Location:
This job is located in Wiltz, a charming city known for its natural beauty. The ideal candidate would be willing to relocate or have their own transportation.
Accommodation:
Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the seasonal contract.
