Head Baker

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Baker to join our team in Vilnius. As the leader of our bakery team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, from mixing and shaping dough to baking and decorating a variety of delicious breads, pastries, and desserts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and a creative flair, as well as strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team. This full-time position offers a salary of $1800 per month, along with accommodation, free visa and ticket, making it an ideal opportunity for Indian bakers looking to work abroad. Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage daily production schedule according to orders and inventory levels
- Mix, shape, proof, bake, and decorate a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts
- Ensure quality control standards are met at all times
- Train and supervise bakery staff on techniques and procedures
- Create new recipes or adapt existing ones to meet customer demands
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Monitor equipment performance and schedule maintenance when necessary

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a baker or pastry chef
- Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and sanitation standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Creative thinking skills to develop new recipes or adapt existing ones
- Good time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Lithuanian is a plus)
