Restaurant Manager - Acre, Kenya


As a Restaurant Manager in Acre, Kenya, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant. Your ultimate goal will be to provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all guests have a positive dining experience. This is a contract position that requires prior experience in restaurant management.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all aspects of the restaurant, including staff, finances, and inventory
- Train and develop staff to provide excellent service and maintain high standards
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Create and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure quality food preparation and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Prepare reports on sales, expenses, and employee performance for upper management

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in the food industry
- Excellent communication skills in English (Kiswahili proficiency is a plus)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to handle high-pressure situations with ease
- Basic understanding of financial principles for budgeting, inventory control, and reporting

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.

Education:
A degree or diploma in business management or hospitality is preferred but not required.
