Preservation Architect
A prestigious architectural firm in Kaunas is seeking a skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures in accordance with local regulations and international preservation standards. This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of architectural history and the ability to balance modern functionality with traditional design elements. The ideal candidate will have experience working on projects in Egypt, as well as strong English language skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans that adhere to local regulations and international standards
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other design professionals throughout the project lifecycle
- Utilize specialized tools and techniques to repair and restore historic buildings
- Ensure that all preservation work is completed within budget and on schedule
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in preservation technology, materials, and techniques
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Preservation Architect on projects in Egypt
- Strong knowledge of architectural history and preservation principles
- Familiarity with local regulations related to historic preservation
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with a team
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Salary: $1600/month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Kaunas, Lithuania
