Loader Supervisor

We are hiring a Loader Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our loading team in Nairobi. As a Loader Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of loaders, ensuring timely and efficient loading of goods onto trucks, and maintaining safety protocols. This is a contract position suitable for Indian nationals with experience in loading and supervising teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the loading team and ensure all loaders are following safety procedures
- Assign tasks and schedules to each loader based on the daily workload
- Monitor loading progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines
- Inspect loaded trucks to ensure proper weight distribution and securement of goods
- Train new loaders on safe loading techniques and company policies
- Communicate any issues or delays to the logistics manager in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of loaded goods and report any discrepancies
- Adhere to biometric passport requirements for cross-border shipments

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a loader or loader supervisor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train team members
- Familiarity with biometric passport requirements for international shipments is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Indian nationality preferred
