Network and Systems Administrator - Vilnius, Lithuania

A fast-growing IT company is seeking a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Vilnius. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and maintaining computer networks, systems, and servers. This is a contract position with a salary of $1200 per month, with the possibility of extension. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity
- Maintain security measures to protect company data
- Upgrade systems and applications as needed
- Provide technical support to end-users

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Network and Systems Administrator
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:
- Industry certifications such as CCNA or MCSA/MCSE
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell)
