Data Mining Analyst


We are hiring a Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Sheduva, Egypt. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends that can be used to improve business operations and decision making. This is a contract position with a salary of $1700 per month and includes accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting research and gathering data from various sources
- Using data mining tools to extract, analyze, and interpret large datasets
- Identifying patterns and trends in data to support business decisions
- Creating reports and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop strategies based on data insights
- Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data through regular audits
- Continuously learning new techniques and tools for data mining

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Proficiency in SQL, Python or other programming languages used for data mining
- Knowledge of statistical methods and tools such as regression analysis and hypothesis testing
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets efficiently
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with e-commerce or retail data
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques
- Knowledge of database management systems
- Prior experience working in a contract role
