Plasterboard Installer



As a Plasterboard Installer, you will be responsible for installing and finishing plasterboard in residential and commercial buildings in Sheduva. You will work with a team of skilled tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard to fit specific areas
- Install plasterboard using various techniques such as nailing, screwing, or gluing
- Apply joint tape and compound to seal gaps between plasterboard sheets
- Sand and smooth surfaces to create a seamless finish
- Repair any damaged or uneven areas
- Follow building plans and blueprints to ensure accurate installation
- Work collaboratively with other tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and painters
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Plasterboard Installer or similar role
- Knowledge of different types of plasterboards and their uses
- Ability to read building plans and blueprints
- Excellent measurement, cutting, and fitting skills
- Familiarity with various tools and equipment used in plasterboarding (e.g. saws, drills, trowels)
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality finishes
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials when necessary
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Valid driver's license preferred

Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Sheduva (accommodation provided if necessary)
