Fitter for Contract Work in Ashdod, Israel


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our team for a short-term contract in Ashdod, Israel. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and repairing various mechanical components and structures, ensuring that they meet quality standards and specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and assembly of mechanical components
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to assemble and disassemble parts
- Perform standard measurements and calculations to ensure accuracy of components
- Inspect materials and finished products for defects or malfunctions
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery or equipment to determine root causes of problems
- Make necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure proper functioning of equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to identify process improvements and increase efficiency
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while working with machinery or equipment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Fitter in a manufacturing or construction environment
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills in English

This is a contract position with a salary of $900 per month. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract. Candidates must have their own valid work visa for Israel.
