Housekeeper at Clairvaux Chateau, France


We are hiring a Housekeeper to join our team at the beautiful Clairvaux Chateau in France. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the chateau's interior spaces. This includes sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces, as well as changing linens and doing laundry. You will also be responsible for restocking supplies and ensuring that all rooms are guest-ready at all times.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or related field preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Physically fit and able to perform cleaning tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time
- Fluent in English with basic French language skills preferred

Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain all interior spaces of the chateau including bedrooms, bathrooms, common areas, and staff quarters
- Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors on a daily basis
- Changing linens and making beds according to hotel standards
- Doing laundry including washing, drying, folding, and ironing
- Restocking supplies such as toiletries and towels in guest rooms
- Reporting any maintenance issues or damages to management immediately
- Ensuring all rooms are guest-ready at all times with amenities fully stocked and organized
