Senior Accountant

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of our company and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Monitor cash flow and oversee budgeting processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- CPA certification preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Familiarity with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1800 per month.

We are able to provide visa sponsorship for the right candidate.

Preference:
While we welcome applications from all qualified candidates, preference will be given to Kenyan nationals or individuals with prior experience working in Kenya.
