Indian Chef - Ashdod, Israel
We are seeking a talented and experienced Indian Chef to join our team in Ashdod, Israel. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for creating authentic Indian dishes that will delight our customers' taste buds. Your primary role will be to oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring food quality and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus featuring a variety of traditional Indian dishes
- Prepare and cook dishes according to traditional methods and recipes
- Ensure high-quality standards are met for taste, presentation, and portion size
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety procedures
- Manage inventory and ensure all ingredients are fresh and available for daily service
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Monitor food costs to stay within budget
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Indian Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine with the ability to create authentic dishes from scratch
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and manage kitchen staff effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Understanding of food cost control measures to maintain profitability
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1300$ per month.
