Librarian (Jizan, Saudi Arabia)


We are hiring a Librarian to oversee our library operations in Jizan, Saudi Arabia. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection of books, journals, and other materials. Your duties will include organizing materials, assisting visitors with finding resources, and maintaining the library's cataloging system. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills and a passion for literature and education.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection of books, journals, and other materials
- Organize materials in a systematic manner for easy access
- Assist visitors with finding resources and providing information on library services
- Maintain the library's cataloging system and ensure accuracy of records
- Develop and implement programs to promote reading and literacy
- Monitor inventory levels and order new materials as needed
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new publications

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Previous experience working in a library setting preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Passion for literature and promoting education through reading
- Ability to adapt to changing technology in the field of libraries
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal)

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month.

Location:
The position is located in Jizan, a city located on the coast of the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia. Jizan is known for its beautiful beaches, traditional markets, and rich history.

Working Hours:
This is a full-time position with standard working hours from Sunday to Thursday.
