Chef de Cuisine
We are in search of a skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team in Hawalli. As the head chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and managing a team of cooks. Your main goal will be to ensure the highest quality of food is served to our customers.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chef de Cuisine
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to create new and innovative dishes while also maintaining classic favorites
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
Responsibilities:
- Plan menus according to seasonal availability and customer preferences
- Create new dishes or modify existing ones based on customer feedback and market trends
- Supervise all aspects of food preparation, including portion control, presentation, and taste
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and sanitation procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition
Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
